About Goochland County

Goochland County is rich with colonial history and American heritage. It was first organized in 1728 by English settlers and thrived on farming and agriculture. After bearing witness to action in the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, it developed into a prominent commuter hub for Richmond in the 20th century.
